NSD - Challenge #10 from My Pink Stamper

Ok so I know I jumped a bit ... but I didn't have time to do all the challenges!

Here is my submission for Challenge number 10 from My Pink Stamper which was to be a card or layout with a pet in it!

I made this for my mother-in-law for Mother's Day ... she's got a little of everything so I thought making her somthing was a safe bet!

I used a weaved pattern with the ribbon to give the corner some dimension and pattern.

I welded the My together from the Gypsy Font cart on my gypsy. I also matted the photos in white, then black and used an orange brad for detail.

The grand puppies was welded together on my gypsy from the Cuttin' Up Cartridge.

Finally I took a trip to Walmart and got this frame that was meant for a 4 x 6 photo, but covered the whole back with the LO. I only paid 6.88 for the frame which I thought was a great deal!

Finally all framed and done!

Hope you enjoy!

Another Birthday Wish

WooHoo for the weekend for everyone!

April is a busy month in my family, filled with birthdays! Here's a peak at the card I made my brother!

Again, very basic ... I'm trying the "Manly" card thing, remember?

I used my Gypsy to weld the word Happy together, then did some dotting around the letters to give it a little more finished look. I used a simple black ribbon to hide the seam from where the 2 pieces of paper meet.

I love these silver dots ... the card needed something extra and I don't think my brother is a pearl or gem kinda guy ... so these work out well! I finished it off my chalking the whole outside of the card to give it a rustic feel ... well at least I think so!

Here's some of what I used!

So another birthday down and who can even count how many more! I hope you liked my card and enjoy your weekend! I'm looking forward to some family time this am and then tonight we're hosting the UFC fights at our home, so I guess I need to clean before I head back up to the craft room! Whatever you end up doing today have a BLAST!

Happy Crafting!

Thinking of you!

I hope everyone is having a fabulous day! I've been going crazy with scrapbooking and LO's lately so I thought I'd make sure that I remember to do some cards too!

This card has been planned in my gypsy for a while.  I used the welding feature to put the letters inside the tags, then I also cut the un-altered tag as well to use as a backdrop for them. This card's measurements are 5 x 7.

I used one of my fiskars boarder punches for the black strip across the top of the card. I also used my Creative Memories Chalking Ink (as seen in this past Friday Fav) in black to go around the tags to give them more dimension.

Finally a stamp from the My Pink Stamper Fabulous phrases set! I LOVE this set!

I'm finding that sometimes less is more and am really happy with the way that this card came out! Thanks for stopping by and all the continued support, it means so much to me!

Happy Crafting!
